Everteen’s 8th Annual Menstrual Hygiene Survey 2023 provides critical data on the use and impact of menstrual hygiene products on women’s lives. Nearly 10,000 women between the ages of 18 to 35 across various Indian cities took part in this comprehensive survey.
According to the findings, the top concern for 33% of women when going out during periods is changing sanitary pads. The survey also revealed that more and more women are adopting newer products to manage period pain. Notably, 18.3% of women are already using menstrual cramps roll-on. These findings highlight the increasing acceptance and use of innovative menstrual hygiene products.
However, the survey also indicates a lack of awareness about some products. For example, only 18.9% of women use daily panty liners as a protection against white discharge, suggesting a need for more widespread education on the range and use of available menstrual hygiene products.
