Recognizing scientific brilliance in India
Merck, a front-runner in the science and technology sector, has launched the third edition of its prestigious Merck Young Scientist Award 2023. With this initiative, Merck aims to identify and reward young scientists from academia, who are spearheading remarkable research in life sciences.
Open from June 26, 2023, until August 16, 2023, this initiative is set to acknowledge ten innovative minds for their scientific contribution. Applicants need to be associated with a research institute, have less than 10 years of post-Ph.D. research experience, and be based in India.
The award extends across three scientific disciplines, namely Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, and a special category dedicated to Sustainability Research. The addition of sustainability research to the award criteria underscores the rising significance of eco-conscious research practices.
