CPHI & PMEC China 2023 connects global pharmaceutical professionals in Shanghai for networking, innovation, and partnership opportunities.
The Shanghai New International Expo Center is set to host CPHI & PMEC China in June, attracting over 3,000 exhibitors and more than 55,000 attendees from over 110 countries. The event will cover 15 sectors, providing a comprehensive platform for the pharmaceutical industry. Jenny Leung, Regional Manager of Informa Markets, highlighted the event’s role in fostering global partnering and addressing the growing international ingredients demand.
China’s reputation for API manufacturing has seen a significant 25% improvement, as indicated by the CPHI Annual Survey[2]. This positions the country alongside leading European nations like Italy and France. As the world’s largest market for pharmaceutical ingredients and starting materials, China offers immense opportunities for global pharma industry players.
The event will also feature PMEC, the world’s largest pharmaceutical machinery event, with over 1,000 exhibitors, 30% of which are new for 2023. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore a wide range of products and technologies, including laboratory and analytical equipment, tablet compressors, filling machines, and state-of-the-art continuous manufacturing technologies.
CPHI & PMEC China will not only serve as a marketplace for global pharmaceutical stakeholders but will also host over 80 conference sessions, the 12th China-World CEO Summit, the InnoPack Awards China, the China-World Innovation and Development Forum, and International Regulatory Agencies Updates. These sessions aim to facilitate collaboration, innovation, and networking among global pharmaceutical professionals, further bolstering the global pharmaceutical industry’s growth and development.
To help facilitate international partnering at such a large event, the Hosted Buyer Programme returns, providing international attendees a targeted one-to-one matchmaking service for the most appropriate domestic and regional suppliers. This service encourages international collaborations in the global pharmaceutical landscape, connecting international attendees with suitable suppliers and fostering valuable business relationships.
