AyurVAID Hospitals - The First Ayurveda Hospital with QAI Accreditation in India
In a landmark achievement that echoes the ongoing renaissance of Ayurveda, AyurVAID Hospitals Domlur, Bengaluru, earned the esteemed accreditation from the Quality and Accreditation Institute (QAI) under the Transition Care Centre (TCC) Standard on May 20, 2023. This feat makes AyurVAID the first and only Ayurveda hospital to hold this honor.
The QAI, a revered institution known for its efforts to establish an ecosystem of quality and accreditation in healthcare, is the only organization in India providing TCC certification. This accreditation by QAI is a significant endorsement of AyurVAID’s steadfast commitment to offering comprehensive healthcare solutions.
AyurVAID, under the visionary leadership of Rajiv Vasudevan, MD & CEO, is a force to reckon with in the sphere of precision Ayurveda. The hospital has a robust protocol for treating patients suffering from a variety of health conditions, including cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, trauma rehabilitation, palliative care, geriatric care, and even COVID-19 rehabilitation.
This accolade is not the first for AyurVAID. In 2010, the hospital made history by becoming the first NABH-accredited Ayurveda hospital. Now, as the third healthcare provider in the country to receive QAI-TCC accreditation, AyurVAID continues to raise the bar for Ayurvedic healthcare in India and around the world.
