Alniche Lifesciences, a leading pharmaceutical company in India and a therapy leader in the Nephrology space, has launched an awareness campaign #KidneyHealthForAll on World Kidney Day. The campaign aims to spread awareness, educate people, and improve their understanding of kidney health.
Alniche Lifesciences has partnered with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and several hospitals to carry out the campaign across various cities. The initiative will provide practical advice on diet and lifestyle to empower patients, their care partners, and support systems to achieve meaningful health outcomes and life goals for Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) patients.
The campaign is particularly crucial as approximately 10% of the global population suffers from kidney disease, with 850 million people affected by CKD worldwide. Risk factors for CKD include diabetes, hypertension, family history of kidney diseases, smoking, obesity, heart disease, kidney stones, and old age.
Mr. Girish Arora, Founder & MD of Alniche Lifesciences, stated that the initiative aims to extend kidney patient education to those with CKD, including kidney failure, to achieve better health outcomes and life goals.
