This expansion marks a significant milestone in VAH’s transformative healthcare initiative journey, which has been bringing essential medical services to the doorsteps of rural communities in the city.
The fifth MMU aims to extend essential healthcare services to 22 additional villages within the Pindra Block, enhancing community health with comprehensive approach. Along with doctor consultations, the vans offer services like free medicines, pathological tests, awareness, health seeking behavioural workshops, doorstep consultation to elderly, physically disabled and pregnant women. We always strive to be good neighbour and support community development. Witnessing the impact our program “Swasthya Path” has been making in the communities, we were compelled to expand the program to serve more people. This new MMU represents our continued commitment to not just building roads, but building healthier, stronger communities. We’re proud to see how this program has evolved into a comprehensive healthcare solution, addressing everything from basic medical needs to specialized care, truly making a difference in rural Varanasi.”
