The Cardiology Society of India (CSI) and Vigocare propelled an influential public health initiative at the Botanical Garden in Kondapur, Hyderabad on June 14th, 2023. The event’s weight was bolstered by the esteemed presence of Sri Arekapudi Gandhi Garu, MLA from Serilingampally, Hyderabad, affirming the value of community leaders in advocating public health.
The event commenced with a stirring discourse by Sri Arekapudi Gandhi Garu on the importance of community engagement in health issues. Dr. Ramachandra, a Senior Consultant Cardiologist and President of CSI Telangana, then elucidated the audience on the subject of arrhythmias, emphasizing the cardinal role of early detection in effective disease management.
CSI Telangana’s donation of four AEDs underscored their commitment to cardiac health, underlining the need for these devices in public spaces. With hands-on training provided to attendees, the event was not only informative but also equipped participants with potentially life-saving skills.
