Mrs. Sugandha Jadhav, a 71-year-old patient, refused to let her age or health condition hold her back when she was diagnosed with Type 2 respiratory failure, bronchial asthma, old TB, and severe aortic stenosis (AS) and left ventricular dysfunction (EF-15%). Despite the high risks, Mrs. Jadhav chose to undergo open heart surgery, and with the expert care of Dr. Gulshan Rohra and the team of doctors at Wockhardt Hospitals, Mumbai Central, she made a remarkable recovery.
Dr. Rohra said, “Mrs. Jadhav’s surgery was challenging due to her multiple risk factors, but we planned meticulously and took all necessary precautions to ensure a successful outcome. We replaced the diseased valve with a new one, and with the help of pulmonary and physical rehabilitation, Mrs. Jadhav made a full recovery.”
Mrs. Jadhav said, “I am grateful to the team of doctors and staff at Wockhardt Hospitals, Mumbai Central, for their care, support, and expertise during my treatment. Their dedication and encouragement helped me overcome my fears, and today, I am leading a healthy and active life with my loved ones.”
